Cat Hammock Bed by 7 Ruby Road Elevated Cot with Two Washable Covers

Description

Product Overview

The 7 Ruby Road Elevated Cat Hammock Bed is crafted to combine modern aesthetics with functional comfort for indoor pets. Its frame is constructed from sustainably sourced bamboo, offering a natural look while delivering the strength needed to support animals up to 33 lb. The raised platform measures 20 × 16 inches and sits 8.3 inches off the floor, creating an inviting perch that encourages cats to climb, lounge, and observe their surroundings from a safe height. Two interchangeable covers are included: a breathable mesh fabric that promotes airflow on warm days, and a plush fleece layer that adds warmth during cooler evenings. Both covers are removable, machine‑washable, and designed to fit snugly over the frame without slipping.

Beyond its core structure, the bed incorporates anti‑slip silicone pads on each leg, preventing unwanted movement on hardwood or tile floors. The assembly process is straightforward, with all necessary hardware and a concise instruction sheet included in the package. The design’s clean lines and neutral color palette allow it to complement a variety of interior styles, from contemporary lofts to cozy family rooms.

Usage

This hammock is ideal for a range of indoor environments. In a living room, it can serve as a focal point where a cat can watch activity while feeling secure. In a bedroom, the elevated height offers a quiet retreat away from foot traffic, helping pets with anxiety or joint discomfort find a calm spot. The sturdy bamboo construction also makes it suitable for small dogs, puppies, or even rabbits that enjoy a raised lounging area. Because the bed is lightweight, it can be easily moved from room to room, allowing owners to adapt the pet’s favorite spot as the household layout changes.

For households with multiple pets, the generous platform size provides enough space for two cats to share or for a cat and a small dog to coexist peacefully. The dual‑cover system ensures year‑round comfort: the mesh cover keeps the surface cool during summer months, while the plush fleece adds insulation during winter. The removable covers simplify cleaning, making it practical for owners who need to maintain hygiene without hassle.

Additionally, the elevated design helps protect pets from drafts that often affect floor‑level bedding. By keeping the sleeping area off the ground, the hammock reduces exposure to cold air and dust, contributing to a healthier resting environment for animals with respiratory sensitivities.
